76% Of Hydraulic Failures Due To Contamination In Fluid

Hydraulic fluid contamination leads to inefficiencies in equipment and increased machine downtime. Metals, dust particles, sand and rubber contaminates from industrial environments all affect the performance of equipment. The smallest particles, known as silt, are most responsible for defects and can only be removed by applying NTZ Micro Filtration technology, which filters down to 2 micron. Typical full flow filters cannot filter down to this fine level.

Our filters are installed in bypass and filter an average of 1-2 liters per minute of fluid versus 10-20 liters per minute in full flow. Because of the lower flow rate, the bypass system can be more restrictive, and able to remove 99% of the very smallest of particles.

Advantages of NTZ filters:

  • Certified beta ratios of (ß) 4 = 10649
  • Low (85 PSI) and high (3000 PSI) pressure systems
  • Easy-to-use portable systems available
  • OE-proven patented technology in Europe and the U.S.
  • ISO certified manufacturing

For use in injection molding equipment, test stands, off road mobile equipment, heavy-duty vehicles, stationary cranes, stationary hydraulic systems and all types of industrial equipment.

Market Applications

NTZ hydraulic filtration is beneficial in many markets:

  • Industrial equipment
  • Steel industry
  • Paper industry
  • Plastics industry
  • Petrochemical industry
  • Off-road mobile equipment
  • Heavy-duty vehicles

Contamination is responsible for more than 70% of all hydraulic system failures, according to the Filter Manufacturers Council.
